Group Courses
Business
This package will enable employers, employees, or staff to engage in structured courses designed around a common theme, whatever it is you do! Together we will discuss topics to enhance your performance on the job, learn respective vocabulary, grammar and expressions, review articles to stay current in your field, and talk about culture and etiquette norm. Whatever particulars you desire, as a collaborative group, is what we will focus on. Together, you sign up for the course as a whole, to save costs, where individual instruction isn’t quite as necessary or wanted. Participating in a group is attractive for individuals who wish to challenge themselves in a more ‘free speaking’ environment, or who desire the speed and fluency of conversing ‘on the spot’. You will find yourself thinking in English, asking questions in English, and getting the consistent practice to maintain or enhance your English speaking skills.
Students or Friends
This package is similar to the Company or Business package, yet your group has been created for the purpose of taking English conversation classes together with friends, colleagues, or family. You still sign up together as a group. You want to challenge yourself, listening and sharing, and conversing..and you can decide on the topics of conversation. For example, you may want to review lessons you are taking at school, or rehearse a speech or presentation for school or work. Maybe your family is going on holiday or hosting foreign visitors. Or you simply have a passion for speaking English and want to practice what you’ve been studying all these years! Gather up with a similar goal in mind regarding what interests you, or simply enjoy engaging in what I have designed for you. It will be interesting, challenging and fun!
Conversation with other Non-Native Speakers*
In this group you will find yourself immersed in conversation with other students that you do not know, possibly from all over the world! We will choose from a list of topics for discussion based on common themes, share stories, learn about each other, and enjoy various activities. The learning process here is both guided and spontaneous. Students are encouraged to speak openly, practice asking questions and responding. Above all, this package is aimed for individuals who need to practice speaking, or who love to learn about other cultures and meet new people.
The levels of each student may vary a little, but that’s okay! This is the perfect opportunity for you to immerse yourself in English and culture!
*After your consultation with me, you will be placed on a waiting list until a full class of 3-6 students has been organized, and will soon be notified as to the date classes will commence. At that point, payment must be received within 3 days in order to hold your spot in the class.
